DAY CENTRE SERVICES
Dunbar Day Centre is a building-based support service for the older people of Dunbar and the surrounding areas. We offer a place for people to come to enjoy the company of others and to engage in a variety of different activities. We also have entertainers in and visits from the local schools and nurseries. You will get a two course lunch and transport directly to and from the centre.
We have a wide range of activities available, such as indoor curling, skittles, carpet bowls, jigsaws and quizzes, but this is just a taste of what you could expect! The activities we do each day are based around what our service users request.
All our staff are highly trained and can help and support you while you are at the centre.

Referrals can be made by family members, local GP’s, carers, social work, dementia groups and more. If you would like to refer someone, you can complete our referral form so we can get a better idea of what you would hope the service would provide. We are very happy to give ideas and make the service as individual as possible to suit each individual’s needs. A copy of the referral form can be accessed from this link.
