A group of staff, family, friends, volunteers and trustees took part in the monthly quiz at The Pine Martin. The money raised was kindly donated to the Day Centre and we gratefully received £235.82.
We will be going along again as we all had a brilliant night.
New Trustees Needed!
Ssssh! Don’t let on but there are lots of exciting new things going on in the background at Dunbar Day Centre. So much so that we are looking for new volunteer Trustees to join the charity. As a Trustee you will be expected to attend our monthly meetings, take part in some training and take on an area of responsibility. The area of responsibility could be something you are interested in or would like to learn, a skill you already have, or an area you have experience of or are qualified in. We would especially like help with recruitment and management of volunteers, bookkeeping, management of a charity/company, grant applications or perhaps you can offer something we haven’t listed here.

Stephen Bunyan Room
Last week at our AGM long standing Trustee Stephen Bunyan was presented with a plaque and scroll by our Chairperson Kirsty Summers, this was to celebrate the naming of our lounge as the Bunyan Room. This is a thank you to Stephen for all the hard work, time and dedication he has put into the Day Centre since its opening. Stephen is now going to enjoy his retirement from the Day Centre committee, but we hope that he continues to come in and see us all. We thank you Stephen for all you have done.
